I had been campaigning for a Tempurpedic mattress and even went to the store to look at them. The prices were a bit high and after some research found the Night Therapy mattress at a local box store. One neat thing was the fact the box had wheels on the bottom and a handle on the top so it was easy to get out of the pickup truck (150 pounds) and roll it into the bedroom. From there we just followed the instructions, cutting open the box and the bag and unfolding it.
Unfortunately, the instructions showed that you should unroll it and simply fold it out. Had we done that the mattress would have been installed upside down. It didn't seem right that the zipper went on the top and the patterned mattress pad was on the bottom. A quick call to customer service assured us that we had figured right and the obvious thing was to turn the mattress over.

not a firm mattress, April 19, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: 12" Therapeutic Pressure Relief Memory Foam Mattress - Queen well if you need a firm mattress, this is not it. it's plush, but if you have a bad back you will be disappointed. and guess what. they are not just going to take it back. if you want to fight thru the 60 day amazon return warranty, it will still cost you over $300 for shipping a 150 lb mattress back to California w restocking fee. i weigh only 180 lbs and i sink into it like a lead weight. i sent them a picture with 3 water bottles in the middle of the bed weighing 25 lbs each and not even close to standing upright, and the seller told me to contact the manufacturer and good luck. it's expensive and pretty much not worth it and you'll be stuck with it. buy local, something that you can try out yourself.

He has not been able to sleep well for the last few years and always wakes up stiff and sore. We have only had this mattress for a few days but we both love it! We have both slept through the night and are not sore or stiff in the morning. He said it was the best nights sleep he has ever had and for the first time looked forward to going to bed. There is a slight smell to the foam (read other reviews that say it will go away) but nothing horrible and I am very sensitive to smells. I will update this review after we have slept on the mattress for a few months.
