When I put the product through the wash, the zipper broke and the company sent me a replacement right away. (Note: I washed four other of their products with no issues.)

It is comfortable, a perfect fit, quiet, sleeps temperature neutral, no smell.. and these are just a few of the things I'm noticing. Of course, I can't see any dust mites so I assume it is doing it's job there, and I've never had bed bugs, but I'm fairly certain that the quality material and zipper would prevent them from making a home in my mattress. I also haven't had any accidents or spills on it and haven't tested it under a sink or anything, so I can't vouch for it being "waterproof", however it seems to be made well enough for me to take confidence in their claims.

While the Luna encasement seemed a little pricey, you get what you pay for. The Luna encasement was soo easy to put on. I have a queen size mattress, and the zipper is so long, it goes from one corner of the mattress to the corner diagonally oppose it, so there is no struggling to get the mattress in (unlike my old encasement). In fact, I did it by myself (I did need my husband's help to get the mattress off the bed, and back on the bed, but I was able to put the encasement on by myself).
My only warning is that the Luna encasement is generous in size. It comes in many heights. I measured my mattress, and it is 12 inches high, so I ordered the 13-inch-high encasement. That one turned out to be about 2 inches too high, so I should have gotten the 11-inch-high encasement. Still, I am pretty happy with my purchase!
